a novel by Rolf A. F. Witzsche
Volume 7 of the series of novels The Lodging for the Rose
Who owns the cradle for the seed?
Name it Intelligence, name it the Universe
Thoughts are seeds from an infinite fountain
Monuments of grandeur of good
Fields of flowers dancing in the sunshine
All nature whispers this to us
Aquarius is the cup bearer for the king. He hears a bitter cup to be poured unto the world. This novel is fiction. The subject is not.
Nevertheless, when love challenges greed, wealth, and the citadels of power, we often find the sword brandished that cuts deep to snuff out the spark of love before it becomes a fire that will illumine the world. History has become littered with such swords of countless types and has been blackened by the darkness they created. Still, the spark of love remains in spite of the darkness, and so does its promise. It does remain so, even in the shadow of the most horrible war, or threat of war. It will remain for as long as humanity remains. This is a foundation we can build on.
When, as in the story, things become so unbelievably evil that no one will believe them, then they will likely happen as it does so in the novel amidst the snows of Siberia in winter.
Still love prevails. Love comes through with a promise worth fighting for. -
The novel presented here is an episode of the epic series of novels, The Lodging for the Rose.
